Our Journey
The story of Haniya Maison began in 1936 with Bombay Silk Shop on Mohammad Ali Road, Mumbai, rooted in the artistry of pure silk, Real Zari and Gota work. After Partition, the family continued its craft in Karachi, preserving and developing generations of textile knowledge and traditional techniques. This enduring relationship with exceptional textiles and artisanal craftsmanship became the foundation of a legacy shaped by patience, precision and an appreciation for timeless beauty.
That heritage later found its expression in Rimjhim, a recognised name in bridal and luxury occasion wear. Its bridal creations became known for intricate Zardozi handwork, detailed embellishment, rich textiles and enduring silhouettes—each piece reflecting the time, skill and devotion of the artisans behind it. For us, bridal couture was never simply about the finished garment; the making mattered just as much.
Today, Haniya Maison builds on that history, bringing together traditional craftsmanship, exceptional textiles and contemporary couture. The Maison reimagines the spirit of its heritage through refined bridal, luxury prêt and bespoke creations—honouring the techniques that shaped us while giving them a modern expression. Rimjhim was the foundation. Haniya Maison is where the story continues.
